Here are our announcements for this week:
Our Youth Group meets on Sunday nights from 4:30pm-6:30pm with a hang out time where you can play video games, board games, or pool, a message and small groups, and a fun game together.
Each month, we go to two of our nursing homes in our community to share the love of Jesus with the residents. We sing some hymns, share a message, and meet with those who join us. Come and join us as we bring Jesus to those who cannot come to a Sunday gathering.
The men’s Bibile Study meets on Wednesdays @ 7pm and will be going through Francis Chan’s study through the book of James. Check out this video below and we hope you can come and join us!
Our Annual Christmas Eve Candlelighting Service is happening again this year. Please plan to join us on Tuesday, December 24th at 5pm for a night of songs, communion, a message, and lighting candles to signify the light of the world coming to be with us!
The various churches of our area put together a 5th Sunday rally, a night of singing, when a 5th Sunday appears on the calendar of a given month. The next time this happens will be on December 29th and we will be hosting this month’s event. We hope you can come and join us at 6pm on Sunday, December 29th for a night of music!
The ladies of our church get together each month for a meal and devotion time at Stacy’s Covered Bridge here in town. We hope all women, whether you call our church home or not, will come and join us for this time of fellowship together.
Our men get together monthly to share in a breakfast and devotion together. Come on out and join us on the 2nd Saturday of the month. All guys are welcome!
We have a prayer meeting that meets each Sunday morning before our service to pray for the church and our community. We believe that prayer is the most powerful thing we can do for one another, so come out and join us this Sunday at 9am.
If you are available to help us get the church ready for our Sunday morning gatherings, let us know! There is a sign up sheet in the lobby, or you can give us a call (541-942-3822) so that we can put you down on the list.
A mission we support here at 6th & Gibbs is Grove Christian Camp. They have a mission that is dedicated to bringing people to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, while at the same time teaching and equipping Christians to a more mature relationship of service and commitment to Christ.
During the year, they have some great opportunities to help all of us grow in our faith. Here are the ones that are coming up fast. We have sign up sheets on our info table, but you can also sign up directly at the Grove Camp website by clicking here!
